Shizuka Itou Appearing at Anime Revolution Summer

Fans in the Vancouver area can look forward to meeting voice actress and singer Shizuka Itou (Sailor Venus in Sailor Moon Crystal) this August at Anime Revolution Summer.

Some of Shizuka Itou’s other voice roles include: Yayoi Kunizuka (Psycho-Pass), Tamaki Kousaka (To Heart 2), Lenalee Lee (D. Gray Man), Irina Jelavic (Assassination Classroom), Himawari Kunogi (xxxHolic), Hinagiku Katsura (Hayate the Combat Butler), Koko Hekmatyar (Jormangund) and Akeno Himejima (High School DxD).

In March 2016, Shizuka Itou was also awarded Best Supporting Actress at the 10th Annual Seiyuu Awards.

In addition to voicing anime and game characters, Shizuka Itou is a well-known singer in Japan and has lent her vocals to ending theme songs in animes such as Hayate the Combat Butler and Amagami SS.

Three day pass tickets are approximately $75 +tax for the convention (currently discounted to $70 +tax). Single day passes are also available at the door and range from $50-$60 (plus taxes). Cristina Vee Appearing at Anime Revolution

Vancouver fans will be able to meet Cristina Vee, the voice of Sailor Mars in the ViZ Media English dubs of Sailor Moon and Sailor Moon Crystal this August at Anime Revolution.


This year’s Anime Revolution will be August 5th-7th at the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre at 999 Canada Place in the east wing. If you’re interested in attending, you can purchase tickets in advance here. Single day passes are $50-$60 at the door, and standard weekend passes are currently discounted to $69.95 each (sponsor and premium passes are also available).

Sailor Moon Guests Appearing at Anime Revolution

Anime Revolution will  be on August 14-16th at the Vancouver Convention Centre in the east wing. Tickets are available for purchase online and are currently available at a discounted rate. 3 day passes for adults are on sale for $60 (regularly $75) and 3 day child passes are on sale for $30 (regularly $35). At the door admission will range from $50-60 depending on the date you attend.

See Megumi Ogata at Anime Revolution (and Sugar Has Scheduling Conflict)

ar2014_megumi_ogataHey fans! This just in – Megumi Ogata (Sailor Uranus) will be appearing at this year’s Anime Revolution.

We have also heard from one of the convention coordinators that, unfortunately, Sugar Lyn Beard (Sailor Minimoon/Rini #2) will no longer be able to attend due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts. We hope that Sugar will be able to return another time so that west coast fans can see her again.

Stephanie “Sugar” Lyn Beard (Sailor Mini Moon/Rini #2) is going to be appearing at Anime Revolution in Vancouver this year.

Canadian fans on the west coast will have the opportunity to see three panels hosted by Charlene and ask questions about the new Sailor Moon license. Maybe we will also hear more there about how Sailor Moon will be available in Canada?

Either way, it sounds like Anime Revolution is going to be a good convention to attend this year!
