Breaking News: Kotono Mitsuishi Appearing at Sakura-Con 2011

ANCEA recently announced that Kotono Mitsuishi will be a Guest for Sakura-Con 2011.

From their statement:

Kotono Mitsuishi is probably best known to fans as the Japanese voice of Sailor Moon. Considered one of the most prolific and influential voice actresses in anime, Ms. Mitsuishi voices an incredible number of notable roles. Please see her bio for a full listing, you are bound to find several of your favorites among her credits. We are very honored to have Ms. Mitsuishi joining us for her first Sakura-Con.

I will be representing Moon Chase at this year’s Sakura-Con, and I plan to provide even more in-depth coverage than last year! I will be wearing a Sailor Moon themed costume one day too, I wonder if any of our readers can guess what my costume will be?

The official schedule for Sakura-Con is not yet released, but we will be sure to let you know when and where you can find Mitsuishi as soon as we have a copy of the programming schedule.

Not Sailor Moon, but one of the main characters 🙂

@limited2gal: yes, she plays Hamii. We're working on a short post about some of the new things Mitsuishi is in.

Why haven't you done any of those the Sailor Moon Seiyuu sightings. The last time that happened was a year ago in January. You only posted ones for PGSM, Musicals and the dub VAs for like the past few months. 🙁

If you will recall, I told fans last June that an exciting new opportunity that was going to change my life and leave me less time to work on this site had happened – in August, I realized that I had to cut back on what I was doing for the site. Mainly, the Seiyuu have disappeared because there's literally too many to keep up with and I need several days sometimes to work on articles about them. And it's really hard to have to axe people to cover from the list because the cast is so extensive and everyone has their favorite. If I had more time, I'd go back to reporting about the Seiyuu but right now there just isn't the time :(.
