Figuarts ZERO: Sailor Venus Has Arrived!

Sailor Venus is the latest to be available in a Figuarts ZERO figurine from Tamashii Nations. Pre-orders begin this month, with shipping starting in October. As with the other ZERO figurines, the MSRP is 8800 yen + tax ($86.45 USD/ $94.24 CAD). She is also on display this weekend, May 10-11 in Akihabara.

It’s also confirmed on the Tamashii Nations site that Sailor Mars and Sailor Jupiter will have Figuarts ZERO figurines available in the future. When we have more details, we will let you know!

Breaking News: Sailor Moon Reflections Book To Be Available Worldwide

As we discovered at Unplugged Expo 2, Roland Parliament has been writing a book covering a behind the scenes look of the English language version of Sailor Moon. Roland has finished writing the book, entitled Sailor Moon Reflections, it has been edited, and it is currently with his publisher. According to Roland, a proof of the book “will be available near or at the end of the month. Then any revisions will be made, and hopefully it will soon be forwarded to the print queue .”

More Details About Sailor Moon Reflections:

  • Approximately 21 chapters (there may be some editing)
  • Includes quotes from the five major “Sailor Scouts”
  • Includes 38 photos taken during the recordings
  • will be available in hardcover, soft cover, and e-reader editions
  • Will be sold at Amazon and other outlets (it will be available worldwide)
  • Roland also plans to make an audiobook version for the visually impaired
  • Retail price is yet to be determined

Fans can pre-order the book by filling in an order form and sending a $10 cheque (as a deposit) made payable to Roland Parliament. Pre-ordering guarantees you will be among the first to receive the book when it is published.

The book is still in production, so it may take some time for it to be available in stores.

The Cast of Sailor Moon’s New Musical “Petite Étrangère” has been Announced!

Sailor Moon’s newest musical has been announced, get ready for Petite Étrangère! This new production will run in two separate locations, starting in Tokyo from August 21-31 and then moving to Osaka from September 5-7.
The cast remains the same as last time, with the exception of a new Sailor Mercury.

As some fans may have noticed, the title Petite Étrangère is also the chapter title for Chibi Moon’s entrance to the story, which is further confirmed by the official websites mention of: “A mysterious girl who came from the future, and a new enemy, Black Moon!” In other news, Sailor Moon’s new musical and anime have both attracted plenty of new stateside attention as well, with The Mary Sue spreading the word on Sailor Moon Crystal, and BroadwayWorld.com posting their own article on Petite ÉtrangèreLooks like this is going to be an exciting summer for Sailor Moon fans around the world!
